Special volume of the XIV Symposium of Probability and Stochastic Processes

Description of the volume

The symposium has a long history, having been held over the course of now 35 years in various academic institutions in Mexico, continuously accomplishes its main goal of exchanging ideas and discussing the current developments in the field by gathering national and international researchers and graduate students.

As with previous symposia, a volume containing contributions and lecture notes of the symposium participants will be published. This volume does not constitute "proceedings" but rather a collection of contributed articles and lecture notes that reflects the content of this scientific event. All papers will undergo rigorous peer review, with the highest international standards, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees.

Previous volumes have been published by the Mexican Mathematical Society, the American Mathematical Society, the journal Stochastic Models, and the three latest in the Birkhäuser series Progress in Probability.

All the participants are invited to submit a recent original research paper to be considered for publication in these proceedings. The deadline for submission of contributions is April 30, 2024.

For editorial reasons we would like to have an estimate of the number of contributions we will receive, so we kindly ask you to let us know whether you would consider this volume as a venue for your work by January 31, 2024.
